Tine Kjeldsen

The following stunning Danish home belongs to Tine Kjeldsen, owner and designer of homewares company Tine K Home. Her aesthetic is SO appealing to me. Lots of white, with doses of grey and bits of black and plum. This house is perfection - I might add a few pieces of unpainted wood furniture and some ethnic pieces to give a bit more natural vibe. (And I really wish I could do all white floors but my plethora of cats means I need to get that idea out of my head).

Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen

Word on the weekend that photographer Richard Power has a new book in release sent me scooting to his website to see what else was new. That is where I found this wonderful Copenhagen home shot by Richard. Great house, fab photos. Not your typical scandi all white at all! Eastern influences, a little faded boudoir feel, statement artwork, old mixed with new and ... taxidermy (?!)

A pretty Danish home

I love this beautiful 1911 villa - home to a couple with 5 children - in the Danish town of Frederiksberg. It's serene, simple and bright. Styled by Katrine Martensen-Larsen (other posts of her work here and here) and photographed by Stuart McIntyre (previous post here).

Some white for your Tuesday

I was recently devouring the website of  Danish stylist and writer Katrine Martensen-Larsen and came across the most wonderful home that is bathed in white. It is the flat of Danish designer Nina Kejser and her Italian husband Mario Iadanza in the small town of Charlottenlund just north of Copenhagen. Most of the furnishings are modern but I love that they've added some vintage pieces here and there to add interest. I am becoming more and more in love with neutral spaces and this one really does it for me, and it's styled perfectly by Katrine and photographed by Mikkel Adsbøl. (Stay tuned tomorrow for more of her work).
