Some white for your Tuesday

I was recently devouring the website of  Danish stylist and writer Katrine Martensen-Larsen and came across the most wonderful home that is bathed in white. It is the flat of Danish designer Nina Kejser and her Italian husband Mario Iadanza in the small town of Charlottenlund just north of Copenhagen. Most of the furnishings are modern but I love that they've added some vintage pieces here and there to add interest. I am becoming more and more in love with neutral spaces and this one really does it for me, and it's styled perfectly by Katrine and photographed by Mikkel Adsbøl. (Stay tuned tomorrow for more of her work).

LOVE Katrine's work... but this house is too white for me :)

Love the distribution and the storage units though... too nice!

Amazing! It´s completely my taste. I"d change the tiles of the bathroom
for white. But this is me being too critic.

Some modern, all-white spaces can look a little too stark and impersonal for me, but this one seems to have more soul and warmth than others. I can't quite put my finger on what it is... Maybe it's the plants, or the wood floors, or the unique blend of styles/genres? Regardless, I tend to have more rustic taste but am getting really great feelings from this home.

And I love that rolling cart next to the sofa. I hope it has a cousin out there somewhere, because I have the perfect spot for it...

White Yuminess all the way - Love the accent in copper - Stunning!

It is a very serene look. The vintage accent create a nice subtle contrast with the modern decor. Love it. I haven't been sleeping well the past couple weeks and I can't help think about sleeping peacefully when I look at these pictures.

What a gorgeous home this is. Nothing impersonal about it. Love the mix of vintage and contemporary.

This really is proof that monochromatic interiors can have heart and soul - a beautiful and inspiring space - that's going straight into my renovations folder! We discovered that our new home has beech floors under the fitted Persian (yikes) carpets and this space is a lovely reference for us to use. thank you!

Maybe too much white for me, but I have to recognise that everything looks great and sooo personal.

As you I so love Georgian houses! This one is very beautiful and so surprising if you see the very classical outside and than a very beautiful more contemporary inside! I love it!
Thank you for sharing! You gave me inspiration!

I love white...What if I have two dogs? I mean I NEVER buy white because I know it will get trashed immediately. Any suggestions, or know people that have dogs and do white anyways?

The first word that comes to mind...CLEAN! Inspiration: need to paint the trim in my whole home...CRISP WHITE! It is currently a grey-ish antique white, which looks a tad muddy.
