"Industrial" and "Shaker" - not two words that usually go together but this showroom kitchen sees Bristol-based Sustainable Kitchens take a classic shaker-style cabinet and up the ante with a concrete counter, industrial-style tap, copper pendent lighting and reclaimed scaffold plank flooring. The wall of larder cupboards has me swooning but then you all know I go weak at the knees for a good British kitchen.
I really have no words for this one. Except someone is obsessed with light blue. And decorative moldings. Via jj Locations.
I'm still reeling from the crowded chaos of my Christmas shopping. It's time for another getaway to calm my jangled nerves and as for those of you facing the long, bleak hours of a hump day at work I'm guessing you'd like a virtual escape too. There's something so fresh about a blue and white interior and I love this modern take on a classic look in this Newport Beach renovation by Jeff Trotter Design. From bobbin chairs to Burmese rain drum side tables, from beadboard to blue and white ikat cushions it's the perfect coastal look for those who like their beachside classic not cliché.
By now you will know how much I love an English kitchen so I thought I'd start this Surrey house tour in the kitchen and what a fabulous kitchen it is! It's not just this room that is great though. The rest of the house by Love Interiors (apt name don't you think?) is mighty fine as well.
