Civico Quattro

I couldn't leave it any longer to share more work from Civico Quattro's Orietta Marcon. A private home by this designer/stylist that carefully balances rustic charm and subtle elegance. Nothing is "precious". Where simple and everyday meets stylish and beautiful. To climb the stairs to that grey and white haven under the eaves would be such a wonderful way to end each day.

Stalking fibro beach shacks

A little fibro shack down by the beach. Something simple. A place to gather with family and friends for good times, fun in the sun. A place full of hand me down furniture where no you yells at you if you plop on the couch in wet swimmers or track sand in the back door. Maybe not high on style but that doesn't matter. The days are spent on the beach and nights around the BBQ swatting mosquitoes and drinking beer. Except someone forgot to tell the owners of this fibro beach shack at Sorrento in Victoria that they need not worry about being stylish. If this is their holiday weekender I'd love to see their real home. Real estate stalking again. Link here while it lasts.

JTJ Design

A terrace house in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Stripped back to bare bones, renovated with steel and timber. A modern, minimalist home rising from the old shell. Spare and clean lined, relaxed, cool, calm. From it's ground floor TV den though open plan living and kitchen up to its zen like top floor chill out zone it is the perfect answer to tropical living in a hectic Asian capital. Design by Jessica Lim, Tony Heneberry and Jo England of JTJ Design, a KL based design and development company.
