It's lovely. Light and bright, sophisticated yet relaxed, traditional yet fresh and fabulous. The perfect home ... I should say second home. A stylish family getaway in the chic seaside hamlet of Corona Del Mar, California by Kelly Nutt Design.
It looks like it could be beachside Nantucket but instead it's lakeside in St. Louis, Missouri. A base of crisp, bright white is enhanced with pops of colour, vintage finds and handcrafted touches with visual interest added through texture and patina. This serene family vacation home could have looked staged and cheesy in the wrong hands. Instead the Amy Studebaker Design project has a casual elegance, a coastal charm.
Last week I shared the work of San Francisco based interior designer Jeff Schlarb. You didn't I was going to stop with just one house? Of course not. He calls it Rad Elegance. I call it mid century modern meets restrained glam. Fabulous!
