Thomas Hamel

It's a masculine look complete with fine antiques, a dark palette and simple yet luxurious lines. Sydney based interior designer Thomas Hamel creates rooms that have a gentleman's club feel, a patrician look that speaks of taste and style not glitz and glam. (He worked in his early career for Parish-Hadley.) It's leather and linen, parchment and the warm patina of old furniture, dark and brooding at times and at others light filled.

Dark and moody

I needed to share another location I found at Airspace. This one is the way too cool Oak Rooms, a gentleman's club with a modern twist in Notting Hill. It's dark, it's moody, masculine and quirky. Love the floor. Look at that herringbone! Lots of inspiration for an office maybe? If my husband were a room? Just kidding honey you're not so dark and moody but still quirky.

Sheldon Keith Trimble

With muted palettes and strong, masculine, tailored design, San Francisco based Sheldon Keith Trimble creates spaces that are luxurious and elegant but livable and with a great sense of continuity of design. Modern, at times moody the attention to detail and the clean lines are key to his work.
