The first house in Northbridge, Sydney plays light against dark, relaxed against tailored texture against smooth and sleek. It has a sophisticated resort vibe and a dark moody bathroom to kill for. Stalking

You would think after a whole week of stalking that I could stay away from real estate sites. No. I'm an addict. I must vicariously stalk. I must virtually peep through the curtains of complete strangers' homes. Today I'm glad I did. Elegant, restrained, monochromatic and masculine. And so narrow! Clever use of the tiny courtyard. Reader request - masculine decor

Reader request time! This one comes from Kristín: "My best friend just moved in to his new fab flat, and here's the best part: He's letting me decorate it! Ive been searching some picture for inspiration, and I was thinking something masculine in grey-blue colours. I still havn't found anything though, so I was hoping you might have some pictures?" I don't think masculine has to be blue and grey so I went through my stash and found some spaces (mostly living rooms and a couple bedrooms) that I personally think would generally appeal to the average guy, that aren't necessarily bathed in "manly" colours.

Reader request - masculine bathrooms

Time for another reader request. This time I thought I'd get through 2 of them since I noticed a couple in my list had to do with bathrooms. The first comes from Sandro, who says he's renovating his bathroom and is struggling to find a very masculine look. Now this post is a bit subjective as some people may wonder what makes a bathroom "masculine"..a lack of pink perhaps? So here is my interpretation of what I think could be categorized as masculine bathrooms. (Stay tuned for request #2)

Jakob Solgren
