What a pleasure it would be to turn the key in the door of this lovely home. What a pleasure to call it home. The effortless style, the collection of personal treasures, that vintage sofa. The very aptly named Mount Pleasant residence by Vancouver-based interior design studio Riesco & Lapres.
When a home is totally unassuming from the exterior and then you walk in and POW! The dreamiest of black kitchens complete with black penny round tile backsplash. (Man I love black kitchens! So sexy!) But it doesn't stop there....a bathroom completely clad in black penny rounds? YES PLEASE!!! Screen House by Australian architecture firm Carter Williamson.
Love the cabinets and the pantry. Love the old fashioned look of the electric range and the new fangled fridge. Love the beams and the wide floor boards. I love the traditional feel and the modern convenience. It's even in a thatched cottage. Swoon. My love affair with English country style kitchens continues. This lovely room is by Robert and Tamsin Allen of Fawn Interior Design Studio.
Oh my I've died and gone to kitchen heaven. This is it. English country kitchen perfection and ... it's a showroom. We all know I'm smitten by anything that deVOL Kitchens design so it's no surprise that I have been following the fitout of their new Clerkenwell, London showroom on their Instagram account. Pink fireplace wall, handmade green wall tiles, bespoke cabinets in dreamy blue and copper pans hanging on a creamy tongue and groove wall. The little chandelier, majolica plates and vintage portrait are icing on the cake. I couldn't wait for the showroom to turn up on their website. I just had to share their IG posts.
Not my usual English country kitchen crush but I'm loving this kitchen by Dutch interior design team Nicemakers. Industrial yet earthy. The glimpses of the rest of the house are pretty fab too.
