Big statement with subdued colour palette
Clean, contemporary lines. Minimalist with muted colour palette. Of the moment but with the slightest touch of high 80s style adding interest. Richmond Residence by Harrison Interiors.

I don't know what I love more. The wonderful window seat opening the house out to garden or that kitchen. Love that black display wall. Inside Out House by Breathe Architecture.

I was crushing hard on this home designed by Venice Beach, CA based interior designer Katherine Carter, and then I discovered the homeowner is Lauren Conrad. :) It is really beautiful - so bright and I adore the casual-elegant vibe. That large white kitchen with black hardware and subway tiles makes me forget I have a thing with black kitchens. And then that dining room! And the Ellie Cashman wallpapered dressing room! Gorg!!! Come on in. It's another fabulous London home by Sigmar. Contemporary meets vintage, beautiful architectural details, a muddied palette of greys, golden timber accent pieces, lots of storage and mirrors bouncing light. A warm family home with loads of character.
I do like a hidden kitchen, everything behind a bank of doors. Clean lined and contemporary. Take a closer look at this garden pavillion extension to a post war bungalow. Can you see it? Yes there it is. Hiding. House Au Yeung by Tribe Studio Architects.
