A renovated Victorian carriage house in England

I am experiencing some serious heart palpitations over this renovated Victorian carriage house, especially the absolutely gorgeous kitchen. This property was converted into a home in the 1950s but had fallen into disrepair until the new owners purchased it in February 2016 and began a complete renovation, and the result is all kinds of awesome. The middle section of the home houses the open concept kitchen/dining room/living room (16 metres in long, 6 wide, and 4 high). In the remaining parts of the house are two more sitting rooms, six bedrooms, a large utility room and a huge, modern office space that is in the former garage/carriage storage area. O M G this is massive and stunning inside and out. Available as a location home via Shoot Factory, designed by Laura Butler-Madden.

Bachelor pad

Not your ordinary bachelor pad in the Sydney suburb of Queenscliff by Jillian Dinkel Designs. Public areas in the renovated apartment are bright and light with a touch of retro cool while a more moody palette is just right for the bedroom. I'm loving the built-in seating in the small courtyard. Perfect for entertaining.

Stalking modern living in a historic home

I'm stalking one of my most favourite Australian homes. Colourful contemporary living within a beautiful Victorian era house in the Melbourne suburb of South Yarra. You may recognise this design crush of mine. It's by Technē and I featured it back here. While you drink in the pictures and the video I'll be sitting here trying to figure out how to rob a bank or build a Ponzi scheme to raise cash for the auction. Link here while it lasts.

Vintage and botanical charm in London

A winning combination of vintage furnishings and tons of plants were the reason I had to share this London terrace maisonette built in the 1800's and recently remodelled. A mix of painted and natural wood floorboards, exposed wood beams, a kitchen I am dying over and storing in my inspiration file, and the most beautiful windows and doors help make this home sooooo special. Available as a location home through jj Locations.
