Historic gets a dose of industrial

McIntosh Poris Associates is a Michigan-based architecture, interior and urban design firm that I am now a huge fan of. They took a historic structure and gave it some funk with lots of rustic and industrial touches. They painted out the wood work black (OH YES THEY DID!), and kept the walls white for contrast. Warm colours in the furnishings keep things cozy. This home ROCKS!

G-sign

Since we seem to be on a roll with commercial spaces today, here is another one that was sent to us recently by G-sign, a small design studio in Moscow that specializes in branding and commercial design. If this place doesn't get these IT nerds' energy level up I don't know what will. :)

He is a master at industrial decor and this Garage loft in Amsterdam is legit and so very cool. I am going to go to bed tonight dreaming about this space with a giant smile on my face. (I should IG that sh*t)

Industrial modern in Italy

This home really speaks to me. A modern structure with concrete and steel elements, raw wood kitchen cabinets, and a random mix of modern, rustic and industrial elements for the decor. Gorgeous. The only negative I see is I absolutely detest tile floor in a living room. Via Le case di Elixìr.
