Cute cute cute cute and squeaky cute! It's retro and colour and giggles and fun. Melki is a Polish furniture line. Redesigned chairs from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Smaka Design is a graphics firm while Melki and Smaka are Anita, Dorota and Łukasz. Nitka is the sewing cafe where visual identification, production (prints, website and internet store) and, of course, the furniture by Melki and Smaka all came together.
Tossing industrial and cuts of colour like a crisp salad. Yes it's Guilherme Torres again. Mirrored ceiling, concrete and brights. It's fun, it's fab, it's fantastic. Studio Guilherme Torres.
It's a candy floss coloured carnival ride of an interior. Minimal in essence but packing a colour punch like a sugar hit. Restraint is hyped with pastels and texture. It's like a kid on red cordial. A foundation is laid with textures and patterns. Colour and metallic accents take it up a notch. Vibrancy and a youthful energy lift it even further. It's sophisticated and elegant and fun.
