Italian-born architect Teresa Sapey's website is in Spanish, but after a quick google search, she is apparently the director of the most fashionable interior design studio in Madrid. Her use of curves adds an unexpected softness to her predominantly modern designs.

Boyd Baker House

Things are a little chaotic at home at the moment so I thought I'd take another virtual holiday, this time to Bacchus Marsh in Victoria, Australia. Boyd Baker House, a post war modernist masterpiece is just outside Melbourne. The stone structure is filled with mid century classics and stands on the property with sister house,the Boyd Dower House and a stone library. Designed in 1964 by architect Robin Boyd it is an Australian architectural icon in an iconic bush setting. Both the Baker house and the newer Dower houses are available to stay. Now that the weather is cooler here in Australia It's the perfect bush holiday. This is my idea of camping!

Isay Weinfeld is a Brazilian architect who's work is contemporary and elegantly simplistic. The photos on his website are absolutely breathtaking.

Jonathon Segal is considered one of San Diego's most successful and pioneering residential architectural and development companies. Jonathon designed and built this family residence with its incorporated architectural studio. Light, transparent and with expansive views I'd like to move in myself! Steve Leung's firm, located in Hong Kong, has designed everything from hotels, bars, shopping malls, restaurants and homes. Their designs are classically modern and elegant, and they have an amazing understanding of the effects of light. Their style can be very dramatic, focusing either on completely white interiors, or at the other end of the spectrum, using dark grey and black. "To break all kinds of limitations with a simple but original idea is our objective."
