Apartment as sculpture

When is an apartment more than shelter, more than home? When it is art. The sculptural form of this loft apartment in West Melbourne by Adrian Amore Architects blurs the line between habitation and installation. Curvaceous and twisting, the staircase leads to first the sleeping level then rises to the rooftop terrace.

Cottonwood Farm

Please, please, pretty please can I go to Cottonwood Farm? Right now? Do not pass go, do not collect $200? I'm exhausted. I think it's Monday. I spent one day in bed and the rest of the long previous days at my new venture (more of that to come soon I hope). I think I deserve a fantasy break. In real life fabulous but even in my dreams pretty darn good. 61 private acres below a World Heritage National Park, stylish cottage, peace and quiet. Bliss. Ah! if only ....

Stalking indecision

I really want to like this house. I know if I walked through the door I would be smitten. Love the green in the kitchen, the outdoor areas, the dining room (looking from there to the kitchen but not the other way) and the ensuite. Just hate the pictures. They're putting me off. Anyone in Sydney want to sneak into this Palm Beach home and take better snaps for me? You know ... one stalker to another. Link here while it lasts.

Stalking

I understand it's as inner city Sydney as you can get (Darlinghurst). I understand it's a renovated 2 bedroom art deco flat. I understand it looks cute with its white walls, colourful kilim and funky artwork. I understand it probably looks better in real life than these photos and I'd fell in love with it on inspection in person. I just don't understand Sydney property prices. (Guide price over $950 000.)
