A neoclassical home by Tara Shaw

I don't know if it's that I'm now in my godforsaken 40's and life as I knew it will never be the same, but I never really thought much about "traditional" style decor such as this neoclassical home designed by New Orleans based Tara Shaw. Ann Lowengart and some mostly neutral spaces

Ann Lowengart is quite a versatile designer. As you will see in the majority of this post it's all about sophisticated and chic neutral spaces that are timeless and very inviting. She has also had her way with bright, bold, daring colour combinations which you will see a bit here and in my next post. Whichever style you prefer, they are all jaw-dropping gorgeous. Blue and white beachside

From bobbin chairs to Burmese rain drum side tables, from beadboard to blue and white ikat cushions it's the perfect coastal look for those who like their beachside classic not cliché.

A classic beauty by Kate Marker

I just want to frolic through this absolutely beautiful home in a pair of linen pants and a white blouse while listening to Adele with a Goldendoodle puppy biting at my heels. Not sure where I came up with that, but it's been a helluva long week and I just want to sink into every piece of furniture in these photos and take the most epic nap. Rochester residence designed by Illinois-based Kate Marker Interiors
