Karin Björkquist

Let's end the week with a fab portfolio by yet another super talented Swedish photographer. What is it about the whole scandi style that has us all purring with pleasure? Is it the relaxed and cosy family orientated homes? The simple and practical approach with lashings of personality to cheer up the dark winter months and celebrate the fleeting summer. Whatever it is Karin Björkquist captures it perfectly whether white and bright, dark and moody, jewel like boho or classic gustavian. Brilliant!

Helena's Swedish home

Helena, of the blog På vår udde, emailed us with photo after photo of her gorgeous home on Malaren Lake, outside Vasteras in Sweden. OMG the views, and those windows are to die for! It's a little slice of heaven, and she has decorated it beautifully - simple and comfortable, perfect for a family of 5.

Andy Liffner

Love all things Swedish interior design? Can't make up your mind if you are a white wall and floor sort of gal/guy? Maybe Gustavian? Classic Scandinavian midcentury modern? Out and out retro brick and knotty pine? Any or all of these and you'll love the portfolio of Stockholm based photographer Andy Liffner. The whites are right, the colours pop. The light is bright and the wood is golden. A veritable smörgåsbord from the super talented snapper. Is there something wrong with me that I'm strangely drawn to a blonde brick and knotty pine 70s time capsule? (The one that's after the jump.) Must be the power of Andy's shots ;)

Stargo encore

Isabelle Sjövall, the founder and president of Stockholm architecture and interior design firm Stargo, thought we might like to see some more beautiful photos of work they've completed. How could we pass that up? When I blogged about this firm back in 2007 I found all sorts of gorgeous spaces mostly decorated in black and white (LOVE!). These latest photos feature lots of creams and whites and some stunning wood paneling. (Thanks Isabelle!)

Even more Swedish eye candy ....the overdose edition

I couldn't resist. When I find a new website it's pillage and mayhem. Here are two more fabulous Swedish properties for sale through Eklund. The first a summer home on an island. Main house, pool, guest house and sauna out at the end of a jetty. Almost as stunning as the surrounds. Definitely house party material. The second home after the jump is a small apartment with clever use of space. A minimalist and well disguised kitchen (what do you think of the wall oven placement?), a large mirror to open up the space and a cool modern vibe. A perfect city pad especially if you knew the island home awaited you on weekends.
