TGIF!

My fiancé and I spent the evening at my parent's place getting the trailer put into place in the back corner of their acre property. (For trailer details check out her blog posts here). It looks TOTALLY adorable and is coming along quite nicely, especially after a coat of paint from my twin sister, and now that it's off the driveway. My mom wants to have a little deck/stairs built out front of it and do some planting around it. I am hoping we can at least spruce the outside up a bit in the next 2 weeks before the wedding so we can get some photos in front of it. :) That all being said (perhaps I'm rambling because we're in day 4 or 5 of a ridiculous heat wave here and I'm lacking sleep) I didn't have much time for blog stuff so I figured I'd just slap up some more photos from the lovely www.micasarevista.com. The first bunch are of a cool renovated apartment that is just the right amount of funky (hello brown leather chesterfield!) and vintage and comfy furnishings. The last 2 (after the jump) are of a gorgeous dining space (I love benches for seating at a dining table).

Jaime Ferrer

I see Jo's Swedish photographer and I raise her one Spanish photographer, by the name of Jaime Ferrer. Jaime's photos are beautiful, and the spaces seem to come to life and beckon you from your monitor to come and enjoy.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! May you have the opportunity to knock of some items on your TO DO list like I hope to gawd I can do with mine.

A funky apartment

I found the following apartment on MICASA and knew I had to share it on the blog ASAP because it's got everything - the white walls I am currently coveting, bold colour spattered throughout, a mix of all good things vintage - mid-century and ethnic. And OMG I cannot tell you how badly I want that huge ornate mirror in the bedroom for my dressing room.

Adela CabrĂ©

Barcelona-based interior designer Adela Cabré has a knack for creating unique spaces that are timeless, moody and hip. The spaces below are my favourites from her portfolio - there's something intriguing in each one. I think my preferences are the dark, dramatic rooms. Now that's hot.

I want this loft!

A big thanks to Sonia who left us some links to Spanish shelter magazines - because I came across an incredible loft from this site that I immediately fell in love with. OMG - it's got everything. First, it's a loft. You can't go wrong with that. Then there's white walls (my new favourite wall colour), a mix of modern and retro vintage furnishings, Tolix dining chairs, harvest dining table, metro shelving, cowhide rugs, funky artwork, Anglepoise lamp....when can I move in?!?!
