There's nothing like a rustic interior with bits of modern to keep things current... throw in Spanish architecture and I'm packing my bags. These spaces designed by Mestre Paco, based in Mallorca, Spain are just the right amount of rustic and modern. They're easy-going, easy maintenance (no scatches on the floor!), and in my humble opinion, pretty sexy.
Ibiza is on my top 5 list of places to visit. I would lose my sh*t if I was able to visit and stay in a villa like this. Villa Can Mar is the absolute epitome of Ibiza, zen-inspired style. Achingly cool, this contemporary and minimalist four bedroom home - with its razor sharp, clean, white lines and bold splashes of colour - comes complete with stellar ocean views and famous Ibiza sunsets. Back in July of 2011 I blogged the Spanish holiday home of interior designer and artist Javier Requejo. Javier emailed the other day to let us know his home was recently featured in Elle Decor España. The stellar photos and styling knock this already fabulous home out of the ballpark. I just had to share this version with you all since the first round was such a hit, and it's pretty neat to be able to see what it takes to make a home magazine-worthy. (P.S. Javier now has a blog).
