Pardon me please. I know it's only Tuesday. I know I shouldn't feel the need for a virtual getaway this early in the week. I should at least make it to hump day but I can't. I wish I could escape for real to this beautiful house right on the beach. Simple luxury, an amazing location on the isolated Indonesian island of Gili Meno just a fast boat from Bali, no cares or worries except for sand between the toes. Crusoe House via The Island Houses.
Tammy Connor's impeccably curated traditional style transformed this charming log cabin with the most beautiful weathered wood into an absolute gem. Tammy's approach of taking such a rough, rustic structure and making it look so refined yet comfortable is quite something. I adore everything about this.
Is it too early in the week to indulge in a virtual getaway? No I didn't think so. OK drink in all these photos, close your eyes and daydream at your desk. La Granja Ibiza was once a private residence but now a small hotel with only 5 rooms and a separate guesthouse. Dark and moody, imperfect and beautiful, an oasis from the hot sun and even hotter night life of this party island. There's even a biodynamic farm. Perfection.
I am still lusting over lofts and even though I have shared some of these photos before I have not shared this loft as a whole yet and absolutely needed to. A weathered wood delight with the most beautiful art gallery wall in the living room, with a sexy staircase, even sexier bathtub and a sweet rooftop patio....I'm seriously dying over this loft. Hard angles, brick walls, beautful worn wood. Lovin' this industrial apartment by Michaelis Boyd. I would need to add a few plants tho'. And something girly like a really sparkly chandelier.
