De Wet 34

Views that go on forever anchored by the raw textures of concrete, rock and timber. Dramatic volumes defining open plan living areas. Bespoke furniture and high end finishes. Stairs that take you on a tactile journey. A pool terrace that taunts the view and a master bedroom suite that rivals any 5 star resort. Sensual and sensational, definitely a statement home. You'll find me on the terrace indulging in the view and some rays. De Wet 34, Bantry Bay, Cape town by SAOTA – Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects & OKHA Interiors.

HeadRoad 1815

Perched high on a ridge with views to infinity this three storey home in Fresnaye, Cape Town by SAOTA - Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects takes advantage of a difficult steep site. Such solidity balanced by a desire to run, jump and fly away into the blue.

Busca Vida House by Brazilian architect André Luque sits lightly in the existing vegetation with clearly defined private and public areas contained within two white boxes whose glass walls open to allow for cross ventilation and to let in the natural light. A beautiful home, a clever design solution, stunning surrounds and a seriously sexy pool.

Stalking North Adelaide

This traditional stone house in Adelaide is full of surprises. The first hint might just be the large, contemporary art pieces in the entry. Perhaps the modern, sculptural furniture in its more traditional rooms. Its sleek kitchen and family room extension leading to the outdoor entertaining and pool are not quite you would expect from its prim and proper stone facade. I'm real estate stalking in North Adelaide, South Australia. As an art lover I would happily move in. Link here while it lasts.
