De Wet 34

Views that go on forever anchored by the raw textures of concrete, rock and timber. Dramatic volumes defining open plan living areas. Bespoke furniture and high end finishes. Stairs that take you on a tactile journey. A pool terrace that taunts the view and a master bedroom suite that rivals any 5 star resort. Sensual and sensational, definitely a statement home. You'll find me on the terrace indulging in the view and some rays. De Wet 34, Bantry Bay, Cape town by SAOTA – Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects & OKHA Interiors.

Not a fan of hotel-sized, precision-decorated homes like this. They have no soul, no personality.

Stunning! I am obsessing about interior courtyards and love how this one feels like another room in the house. I also love the understated and serene decor. What an oasis of calm. I could move in today!

If I was going to try to host a salon for the older jet-setting/business crowd, this would be the place. The women keep their heels on and overdo just a bit on the perfume, the men wear Armani. Gracious living with a first-class alarm system. LOVE what they've done with concrete!
