Pardon me. I'm stalking again. I thought something a little more contemporary this time. A home in the Melbourne suburb of Northcote. With a palette of natural colours and finishes it borrows views and a sense of space from the adjoining parkland. Favourite parts? Both sitting rooms, the transition from inside to out and those "stolen" views. Designed by award-winning architect Robert Simeoni you can find the link here while it lasts.
Back in June Jo shared a funky shabby chic/scandi home by Polish interior design firm 2Kul. This firm is at it again, and this time they have taken on the design of 2 apartments in a country home just outside Wrocław, in their signature black/white/natural palette (my fav!) and modern/shabby/scandi style (again my fav!). So warm and cosy...and somewhat exotic. A great vibe.
A mix of farmhouse, nautical and a touch of industrial loft. Neutrals married with textures, dappled sunlight filling bright friendly rooms, kitchen and bedroom alike. A fresh take on classic design. Modern with a rustic twist. Beautiful rooms by interior designer Lisa Kauffman Tharp. She calls it barefoot simplicity, casual elegance.
