Iphigénie Soldatos is an architect based in Paris whose website I came across recently. I was immediately taken with the European feel to her projects and admittedly experienced some heart palpitations when I came across the photos that included decidedly modern spaces with vintage gilded portraits as artwork - one of my absolute favourite unexpected combinations. I leave you with some eye candy to take you into the weekend. TGIF!
I'm still crushing on the work of Parisian interior designer Sarah Lavoine (featured here and here), so here's another project of her - an artist's studio. Love the retro touches, and that blue bedroom is heavenly!
Atmospheric. Stylish with that certain something. Oh so French. Interior stylist and trend forecaster Laurence Pasquier has "it". The eye. The panache. The knowledge. The vision. Her work is like an installation, full of colour and drama.
Let me start by saying it has been a long time since we blogged anything this wacky and eclectic. It is a completely renovated 3 story apartment created by Parisian interior architect and designer Carlos Pujol. It is oozing with creativity and whimsy, from the eyeglasses chandelier, to the paint chip staircase, the mass of pendants in the kitchen and pinups in the bathroom. This is definitively not taking interior design too seriously. :)
