A wacky apartment

Let me start by saying it has been a long time since we blogged anything this wacky and eclectic. It is a completely renovated 3 story apartment created by Parisian interior architect and designer Carlos Pujol. It is oozing with creativity and whimsy, from the eyeglasses chandelier, to the paint chip staircase, the mass of pendants in the kitchen and pinups in the bathroom. This is definitively not taking interior design too seriously. :)

This is one the most creatively decorated residence we've seen in a long time. The colorful doors and the news clippings that surround them are a delightful mix.
It's ecclectic enough for me. Looking through each picture, I'm actually thinking of places to source similar materials.
I think this is an example of terrible taste.

I feel like a prude, but this is very odd. But ya know, I bet the homeowners love it.

Wacky but very personal and with a lot of great ideas.
Not really my style but i love it. I'm sure the owners have a lot of fun designing this space.
There are some nice elements throughout. I especially liked the kitchen cabinet treatment shown up close in the island shot. I wonder how it was done? And the cement floor tiles in the kitchen are lovely. I bet the homeowners are a hoot!
WACKO, and wonderful! So much personality and color! But what is happening in the fireplace image?? It's such a cool paint job...but I'm confused...is the fire photoshopped? Or even the whole color on the right side? Oh well, love it!
I love the eyeglasses chandelair.... I was wondering if you might be able to share with us where you got the cone shaped frame that they are hanging on... thanks!!!
