A London Triplex

Here's another property from Domus Nova with a big wow factor. It's a recently remodeled triplex that features an original Victorian staircase, which houses an incredible installation of "leaves of paper" as if floating, etched with personal anecdotes of writers. The black and white colour scheme with dark wood floors is dramatic and modern, and the main attraction? The to-die-for grouping of Tom Dixon Beat lights over the dining table. I REALLY need to get my hands on a few of those, especially since I've been obsessing over them forever.

A dreamy London flat

A huge thanks to Marie-France of Montréal for sending us a link to this breathtakingly fabulous flat that was for sale on Foxtons (it has since sold and was listed at a gotta-love-London price of £1,295,000). It's a first floor 1 bedroom flat with wood floors, a sunroom and private terrace. The architectural details are worth the hefty price tag - I am drooling over the windows. The casual-vintage decor, in my humble opinion, is pretty close to perfection for the space.

Andrew Meredith

We've blogged some of the best interior and architectural photographers out there, and for some reason we have not featured Andrew Meredith. He is based in London, has shot for some big name magazines (and even the cover of a Kanye West album), and is my new photographer crush. Sit back, relax, and enjoy some of Andrew's handy work.

Parisian mod

Here is another Domus Nova property. This one seems to have a Parisian vibe....and then the owners have added in some modern furnishings. I have to say the red sofa and chair and leather sectional-looking sofa are really throwing me off - I'd replace those with a large brown leather chesterfield and maybe a ratty vintage Louis XVI armchair. The windows are to die for though! A beautiful collection of traditional finds and contemporary pieces. This home offers open-plan space with original features such as stripped wood floors, high ceilings and large arch windows. Rustic furnishings including distressed dressers, original shutters and god adorned glass shades, give unparalleled character. Against a palette of neutral whites and greys, bold armchairs, books and photos inject life. The owner is obviously creative with a zest for bohemian living.

Those quirky Brits

West London estate agents Domus Nova sent along photos of some of their latest properties. Here's one that caught my eye - for obvious reasons. A spectacular maisonette with a very imaginative interior design, comprising over 2000 square feet. The property is the perfect party pad, from the bar space to the beautiful Brigitte Bardot adorned walls (photography by Terry O’Neill). Each space is different, take the eccentric style of the reception space which showcases an eclectic collection of armchairs, beautiful chandeliers, black painted walls and white polished wood floors. The owner’s passion for art and photography is evident simply by her collection of books. The rest of the property is almost fantastical, the owner has the most wonderful assortment of lights fixtures including a disco ball over the stairs. The bathrooms are a work of art themselves; a beautiful fairy-tale boudoir and a heavy pink and black striped space. The epitome of British quirk!
