Those quirky Brits

West London estate agents Domus Nova sent along photos of some of their latest properties. Here's one that caught my eye - for obvious reasons. A spectacular maisonette with a very imaginative interior design, comprising over 2000 square feet. The property is the perfect party pad, from the bar space to the beautiful Brigitte Bardot adorned walls (photography by Terry O’Neill). Each space is different, take the eccentric style of the reception space which showcases an eclectic collection of armchairs, beautiful chandeliers, black painted walls and white polished wood floors. The owner’s passion for art and photography is evident simply by her collection of books. The rest of the property is almost fantastical, the owner has the most wonderful assortment of lights fixtures including a disco ball over the stairs. The bathrooms are a work of art themselves; a beautiful fairy-tale boudoir and a heavy pink and black striped space. The epitome of British quirk!

All the touches are great and so unexpected. The different chairs at the dining table is my favorite feature.

Wow this home is so eye catching....every room has a really nice mural. I wonder if its done by the home owners themselves or its wallpaper?

I am totally loving all the splashes of pink everywhere! Especially the pink chair in the dining area and the pink wall with the surfboard and telephone booth! How very original!!

I like the pink & black bath. The rest of it is rubbish. Heavy arm chairs for a dining table? Are you supposed to climb over? (Plus, that is just the ugliest chandelier.) Three huge light fixtures in a small bedroom? A delicate mural in a pastel bathroom, jarred with the inclusion of dark, heavy-feeling furniture?

Don't blame the English for this horror! It's just bad taste with money.

I love the murals, dark colored walls, and the comfy looking couch. There's nothing wrong with the rest of it, just not my style.
