Vermelho e azul e laranja e concreto
Tossing industrial and cuts of colour like a crisp salad. Yes it's Guilherme Torres again. Mirrored ceiling, concrete and brights. It's fun, it's fab, it's fantastic. Studio Guilherme Torres.

It's a candy floss coloured carnival ride of an interior. Minimal in essence but packing a colour punch like a sugar hit. Restraint is hyped with pastels and texture. It's like a kid on red cordial. High high high. Who else but the Brazilian king of brevity with levity and sexiness with a purpose? Studio Guilherme Torres. See our previous posts here and here.
In keeping with the maculine/bachelor pad theme, the following "man cave" in Sao Paolo, Brazil was created by architect Carol Leães and it's a pretty sweet space that any dude would be proud to call home. Complete with pool table and Porsche book strategically placed on the coffee table.
Yesterday I featured a home designed by Maurício Arruda but I love his work so I could not stop at just one. Here's another I found in his portfolio. It's got a cool spiral staircase - I've always had a fascination with those. The humongous wall unit in the living room is a bit much for me (too overpowering) but I am smitten with everything else.
Maurício Arruda is a Brazilian architect/designer whose funky, retro apartment was featured here last year. I stumbled upon his website recently and this apartment caught my eye. (The project is from a collective called WHYDESIGN, whose members are Mauricio Arruda, Guto Requena and Tatiana Sakurai). LOVE the gray wall colour. LOVE the forest mural (I have one too!). LOVE the Pierre Paulin Little Tulip chairs. LOVE the rosewood cabinetry. LOVE the graphic wallpapers. LOVE the built-in workspace. Photos by Marcelo Magnani.
