Stalking watering can in hand

Don't get me wrong. I love the styling of this house in Melbourne's waterside suburb of Brighton. I just think a lot of those plants would soon die if I was responsible for watering them on a regular basis. Link here while it lasts.

A converted timber mill

A mix of old and new, dark and light, modern and rustic. This converted timber mill in Sydney, Australia has everything I love in a home. And it is absolutely stunning inside and out. Kudos to architecture firm Carter Williamson for completing yet another dreamy project.

Stalking an artist's apartment

I'm stalking the inner-city Sydney suburb of Surry Hills. I'm stalking what would normally be a rather unremarkable 2 bedroom apartment except ... I'm stalking artist Guy Maestri's apartment. Hideaway in the city

I can't help it. Even though it's winter here I keep daydreaming about backyards and outdoor spaces. Pool, a place to sit and soak up the sun, benches for friends to gather, perhaps a slightly bigger table for al fresco dining, a frangipani to grow up and give me shade in the summer and sun in the winter and the promise of a carpet of sweet smelling flowers at my feet. A private hideaway tucked above a garage in Sydney's Paddington by Outdoor Establishments.

Contemporary meets classic garden

This Vaucluse, Sydney garden may be young but it's contemporary meets classic formality mix is fabulous. It will be perfect when the trees mature and the stakes and ties are no longer needed. Another great design by Harrison's Landscaping.
