Award winning Australian architectural practice John Wardle is a collaborative studio which produces diverse buildings and interior spaces. I love the use of woven cane for walls and rails and the sense of open space and voids in these designs. Oh and the cheeky splash of green inside that window.

Stargo

Stargo is an architecture and interior design firm based in Stockholm. I am taken with their portfolio because of my love for black and white. These spaces are so fresh and inviting. Beautiful use of plants as well.

Paul Cha

Paul Cha Architect is based in Soho, New York and has been very successful since it's inception in 1997, having been published in numerous books and magazines including the New York Times and Interior Design. His designs are modern and timeless, and follow Zen sensibilities. I love how he uses different types of wood throughout his designs to keep the modern elements from feeling too cold. (And how cute is that little window along the floor in the third photo?)

Fung + Blatt Architects

Alice Fung and Michael Rosner Blatt formed Los Angeles based Fung + Blatt Architects in 1990 which has become a very successful firm who's work has been awarded and published in magazines such as Living Etc., Dwell, Better Homes and Gardens and Metropolitan Home (to name a few). I love the angles in their structural designs and interior details.

OTD

That’s OTD not OTT. The Office of Thierry W. Despont. Thierry is the architect you call on when you reach the stellar heights of success like client Bill Gates. Whether it’s your dream mansion, island holiday home (most likely on your own island) or rustic cabin Thierry Despont is the man they all turn to. His success is a mark of your success.
