Paul Cha

Paul Cha Architect is based in Soho, New York and has been very successful since it's inception in 1997, having been published in numerous books and magazines including the New York Times and Interior Design. His designs are modern and timeless, and follow Zen sensibilities. I love how he uses different types of wood throughout his designs to keep the modern elements from feeling too cold. (And how cute is that little window along the floor in the third photo?)

i love how he plays with stairs, the first image with the stairs running over the sink is ingenius and the box steps... scary looking to walk up but fantastic eye candy!

I agree Jenn. Love the way he does stairs. The concrete is so raw but modern and I love timber slats used thet way as screens and details.

concrete floors always do it for me.. what a wonderful space... the box stairs are great [sans children]... the timber in the courtyard is wonderful.. the shadows created would be a treat. mariana
