The May issue of Canadian House & Home is one of my all-time favourite issues. This is due mainly because of the feature of Vancouver designer April Tidey's loft and cottage (some photos of which are below). They are filled with such creative and eclectic ideas, and such a variety of different styles. This appears to be her signature look, the mix of ornate antiques, mid century modern furnishings and bold accessories. I LOVE that, because it creates such intriguing spaces where you're bound to find something eye-catching at every turn.
The photography below is that of Heather Ross, a multi-talented Vancouverite who not only takes fabulous photos but has a boutique of antique finds, accessories, textiles, her photography etc. and also creates stunning paintings that she sells in her shop. Do go have a looksie here.
