Pernille Vest

Everything Scandinavian is not always white. Things are brooding in the state of Denmark. No not really but stylist Pernille Vest shows that she's not a one trick pony. Love the dark sophisticated take on classic Scandinavian design (with just enough white thrown in to keep us all happy). Beautiful work!

I couldn't stop staring at the mini-egg type chair on the desk in the first picture. So adorable!

I'm loving these. I wish i had known about this blog when i was in the middle of my History of Furniture classes. I'm absolutley loving the mix of modern elements mixed with the historic representation of the furniture. Absolutley amazing.

love how she uses of dark tones to make a room feel warm and inviting.. it's really difficult to do, i think.. to use dark colours and not make a room feel claustrophobic.
