A completely renovated first apartment

We received an email from Ron and it started off like this: "I'm 27 years old and live in Tel Aviv Israel, currently an industrial design student. Me and my girlfriend just bought our first apartment and decided to design it completely by ourselves." Now before I continue I have got to show you a few of the before photos.

And some info on what went on after they had their way with their new apartment:
"In short we re-did the whole place:
Tore down the wall in the kitchen opening it up to the living room and dining area.
United the the bathroom making one long and spacious bathroom
Made the bedroom bigger by closing a indoor balcony.
A bar that comes out of the wall.

I personally designed and built most of the items seen in the pictures:
Large wall clock
Floating unit below the tv
round table and red chairs
table, pipe lamp and the cats playing area which is hung in the red room
faucet in the bathroom
wooden bar
lights in the living room (with red cords)
bed and side table in bedroom.
"

I cannot even put into words how in awe I am of Ron's talent. Seriously. This apartment is FULL of creative and such well-executed items. See for yourselves. (I told him I may steal the cat play area idea). Check out his website HERE.

And SO MUCH MORE after the jump.

You are amazing at design. Congratulations on a job well done.
Now work on your grammar...it is my girlfriend and I ( not me).
Try the sentence with out the girlfriend.
Would you ever say me brought my first apartment?

This is downright amazing! Looking through the "before" pictures, I was thinking to myself that there was no way anybody could fix up a place like that! But it was done in an extremely gorgeous way! Wow! :)

Major props to the renovation outcome!

What an AMAZING transformation. This is designer's gorilla warfare at it's best, if I should say so. Great creativity throughout this entire task. I really like everything you've done to this place. All of the colors are soothing and not clashing. I'm especially fond of the nook area with the recessed bookshelf and lite. Cool!!!!!
Keep up the good work!

AMAZING I love the ideas and the colours look so great. Some fantastic space making techniques too! I love those dinning room tables that can be folded to become smaller, perfect for a couple who has the occasional dinner parties but mostly dinning for two. Love it. great post.

I like the house. It's so beautiful. My small apartment is being decorated now. What a fantastic thing if my apartment is decorated so nice.

I LOVE the green in the bedroom. When and if I ever get around to freshening up my walls around here, I am going to use that color.

Can't wait to see his next project. He should have his own TV Show.

Perfect, right down to the plants! Love the clock and how each little clock face is set for it's own strategic time location!
A lot of modern re do 's look cold and uninviting, this is cool and invitingly warm at the same time! Well done.
