A completely renovated first apartment

We received an email from Ron and it started off like this: "I'm 27 years old and live in Tel Aviv Israel, currently an industrial design student. Me and my girlfriend just bought our first apartment and decided to design it completely by ourselves." Now before I continue I have got to show you a few of the before photos.

And some info on what went on after they had their way with their new apartment:
"In short we re-did the whole place:
Tore down the wall in the kitchen opening it up to the living room and dining area.
United the the bathroom making one long and spacious bathroom
Made the bedroom bigger by closing a indoor balcony.
A bar that comes out of the wall.

I personally designed and built most of the items seen in the pictures:
Large wall clock
Floating unit below the tv
round table and red chairs
table, pipe lamp and the cats playing area which is hung in the red room
faucet in the bathroom
wooden bar
lights in the living room (with red cords)
bed and side table in bedroom.
"

I cannot even put into words how in awe I am of Ron's talent. Seriously. This apartment is FULL of creative and such well-executed items. See for yourselves. (I told him I may steal the cat play area idea). Check out his website HERE.

And SO MUCH MORE after the jump.

I would really love to know the name of the grey used in the living room areas and the grey-blue in the bathroom.
Thanks

Any timelines for production for the faucet? I want one! Great work.

That is just too fabulous! No wonder he's a design student, such talent! And I see they have IKEA in Israel, too. LOL. Again...fab.

Wow! I want an apartment this cool someday. And such a switch from the '60's pink nasty. I love the kitty wall area, the kitchen redo, the open living space, the awesome wall inserts. And I'm generally a sucker for exposed brick any day-- this was done so FUNCTIONALLY! great job.

The hidden bar is such a great storage solution. I love the pipe lamp, too! it's very "wall-e."

His girlfriend sure hit the jackpot :)

The clock is so cool! How creative.

What a lovely job!!! I love it all, especially the wall clocks display!

This is incredible. How much fun it is to be able to say, "Yeah, I did that." To decorate a space is one thing, to design and make so much of what went into it, is so much more. I just had to laugh when I saw the clock. That is truly clever, not to single it out, in a crowd of wonderful creations, of course.

I think that this guy has found his calling. I cannot believe that is the same place! I'm shamelessly copying that clock wall, and the faucet/towel bar? That design should get sold to Ikea..

The wall clock is just awesome!

Amazing¡¡¡¡ Congratulations to the happy couple, an apartment full of beautiful and original details. That clock is the most and the bathroom, I loved everything. Claudia from Argentina.

WHAT!?! STUDENT!?! You are so hired.

what a makeover! this made me feel 'myownapartamentsick' even more than ever :)
bulb-lamp is great, i also made something like that, but there were less bulbs so the effect wasn't that stunning. love the shower, look really great, also the brick wall and, what surprised me, that green tone in the bedroom.

you had great ideas and you fortunately put them into effect.

the one thing i dislike is a study room. i hate that desk and chair, they just so boring actually. but i adore the red wall and those cat-things, sorry, i have no idea how to call it. ;)

great job!
