A completely renovated first apartment
We received an email from Ron and it started off like this: "I'm 27 years old and live in Tel Aviv Israel, currently an industrial design student. Me and my girlfriend just bought our first apartment and decided to design it completely by ourselves." Now before I continue I have got to show you a few of the before photos.
And some info on what went on after they had their way with their new apartment:
"In short we re-did the whole place:
Tore down the wall in the kitchen opening it up to the living room and dining area.
United the the bathroom making one long and spacious bathroom
Made the bedroom bigger by closing a indoor balcony.
A bar that comes out of the wall.
I personally designed and built most of the items seen in the pictures:
Large wall clock
Floating unit below the tv
round table and red chairs
table, pipe lamp and the cats playing area which is hung in the red room
faucet in the bathroom
wooden bar
lights in the living room (with red cords)
bed and side table in bedroom. "
I cannot even put into words how in awe I am of Ron's talent. Seriously. This apartment is FULL of creative and such well-executed items. See for yourselves. (I told him I may steal the cat play area idea). Check out his website HERE.
And SO MUCH MORE after the jump.

I love the clock and the faucet. Such wonderful ideas!!! Fab! Fab! Fab!
except for the bedroom, i just "loved" the design. especially the clock opinion and the extra-ordinary pipe are amazing...
i really apreciated the designer. :)
(by the way,,, the bedroom sucks! it looks awful x(((
Pretty flawless, and functional, you guys make quite the team goodluck! Love the color schemes, lively and the modern furniture and other accents were just right. I really enjoyed looking at this.
LOVE THE CLOCK! Such amazing creativity!

A really good job, congratulations !
I love what you did with the space and I really have a crush for your bathroom's faucet :)
I wish you an happy life in it !
I liked it more the way it was before.
Amazing what you did with such limited space. Great ideas!! Fantastic execution!! I especially liked your attention to details. The plants in the kitchen made me happy. If your girlfriend is not your wife by now, she better get cracking !!! Your future is assured !!
GORGEOUS! Simple, but intricate, sophisticated yet casual living....This is what good taste looks like.
Amazing and so creative! Love it!
Great job, what a difference.
I loved the TV unit a lot. Do you know, by any chance, how can I contact Ron or get more info about his building technique?

This is what talent looks like! What a great job of ideas, color, lighting, and style. As an Architectural Designer I know what goes into coming up with the ideas and sometimes things just come together. Again...GREAT JOB
Excellent job of maximizing the space, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. I love the open floor plan and the clock idea is incredibly creative.
Great job!
Absolutely beautiful. A cooking surface under a working window is a code violation around here, though. Hopefully the window does not open.
OUTSTANDING!!!!! This shows exactly how much space we truly need to occupy and be not only comfortable but stylish.
KUDOS to you both on a project well done. Now - Can you explain to the rest of use how to do it!
Best wishes to you both on your life together. May your home be filled w/ warmth and those entering feel the hospitality.
If I had a ton of money to invest in awesome wood floors and such I could be creative too. I would be more impressed if it was diy on a budget. Would love to see what this cost them.
The clock is so adorable ...
And I love how they made use of the space...
it looked a lot bigger than it was or probably looks bigger than what it really is.
Awesome! Loved the clock, red light fixture and was awed by the pipe light. I want to know how to make one!
Very cool faucet / towel rack over the sink; simple and elegant!
Oh my God, I'm obsessed with the clock. This entire place is incredible. All I can say is W-O-W. Good for you!
Amazing! Love your apartment! Kudos!!
But may I ask how u made your litghting??
I really want a roof lamp like yours above my diner table...!
