So what have I really been doing for the last 12 months?

Lots of hard work. That's what I've been doing for the last 12 months. Along with my business partner Areta I started a catering company Feast & Co and have taken over the catering lease on The Ipswich Club, a grand old dame of a house built in 1916 and designed by George Brockwell Gill. Weddings, parties, conferences, training days, private dinners and breakfasts on a Sunday as well as offsite catering. It's not a glamorous life I lead. I meet with brides, I clean, I set up functions, I break them down, I clean, I sometimes help with the cooking, I clean, I scheme and plan ways to style the private functions, I struggle with the paper work, the emails and the phone and I clean. The first year of a small business means doing lots of the menial jobs if the business is going to grow.
The pictures are of a drinks and canapés function during the week. 120 teachers from a local private school coming together to celebrate the start of the new school year. These are the few I managed to snap before they arrived. I never do seem to snap very many during a function. I'm always running around serving food, pouring drinks and ... cleaning. It's not a glamour life I lead ;)
