A chalet with style

Winter is upon us here in these parts once again and as usual, I am freaking miserable and counting down the days until Spring arrives. Maybe I would not be so crabby if I had a gorgeous chalet such as this one (in Rougemont, Switzerland I believe) to spend my time in. Frama Studio kitchen

A simple but stylish kitchenette at the offices of magazine Soundvenue by Danish design studio Frama. "Designed to be a free standing element in a space without mounting to any walls or floors, the Frama Kitchen portrays the light expression of a piece of furniture within the kitchen environment." A striking bespoke unit of oiled oak drawers and black marble within a powder coated steel frame matched with pieces from their furniture collection.

Kitchen details

This kitchen is INCREDIBLE! In this extensively renovated Brooklyn brownstone by Elizabeth Roberts/Ensemble Architecture, the wood floor was replaced with a poured cement plaster floor and the original wood closet was retrofitted to contain the kitchen cupboard, gas range and refrigerator. Brilliant!
