New from Jared Frank

Fabulous new work from Jared Frank of topsy design. You'll remember his charming patio from this post but now he has cranked it up another notch. Love!

"Hadar Lorenzo wanted an annex to the men's store, that could function as a stand alone shop. A place to try out new clothes, ideas, and designers before committing to carrying them at his other locations. It was important to both of us that the shop continued H Lorenzo's long tradition of cutting edge design but that if also had its own style. Also, just as critical as the retail below, Hadar wanted an upstairs client lounge, where he could entertain clients and meet with peers over sake or espresso. Packing all this into such a narrow room, while maintaining a sense of lightness and freshness was my primary challenge."

Surfers House

Surf's up and so is my pulse. Beautiful white boxes punctuated by large expanses of glass, the house is by Sweden's Arkitektstudio Widejdal Racki (work completed while the firm was Arkitektstudio WRB). Open it up to the beautiful site or close it up and shelter inside when wild weather rolls in. Casual, stylish and perfect for a surfing weekend. What am I saying? Just surfing? You would find me just sitting on the patio being hypnotised by the ever changing sea.

ade architecture

LOVE this renovated home in London designed by ade architecture. Classic from the front with a modern surprise at the back. It's bright, and appears very spacious, with the help of 6 metre high sliding glass panels. SWEET!!

What's that? A little loft?

High ceilings, period details, polished timber floors and a hint of french in the furnishings. Real estate stalking a small Neutral Bay, Sydney apartment that has gone up for more space. Up into the roof space that is. Love the attic space just up the little ladder. Perfect for a creative studio spot. Link here while it lasts.
