Stalking 1

Sunshine streams in through the stairwell of this teeny, tiny Paddington, Sydney home. Stylish living in a sp[ace that is barely 3.5m wide. It's the tiny gems I like the most when I'm real estate stalking. Link here while it lasts.

A converted storefront in Stockholm

Mattias Wikman emailed us with some beautiful photos of his townhouse-style apartment in Stockholm. The space is an old storefront that was converted into an apartment with a own private entrance and some outdoor space. It is located in the middle of Stockholm in an area called Birkastan. I love that all the walls/ceilings/ductwork etc. are painted white. It makes everything so bright and forms a blank canvas for the furnishings. And it definitively feels like a loft so I really dig that. And Mattias has my favourite quote hanging in the photo below - bonus points!

The White Room

I'm so excited. From the genius behind The White House in Daylesford, Victoria, Lyn Gardener, comes my next must stay destination in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

"Featuring one beautiful room in a separate converted warehouse! Mini kitchenette and own bathroom with its own little private courtyard. Down a lane way entrance - walking distance to Brunswick Street, Rathdowne Street, Gertrude Street, City and Edinburgh Gardens! Cool accommodation for interstate guests or business visits."

Can't wait to see more pictures. Can't wait to book in. Can't wait to get busy on a business trip.

Almost perfect

The only thing stopping this bathroom from being perfect is that it's not real. Oh how cruel (and life like) computer rendering is these days. Can't wait to see the real thing when it is built. Design by Studio You Me and filed away for inspiration by me.

The Herringbone

Similar to The Oyster Catcher that Jo had featured a few months back, The Herringbone is another holiday rental property of phootgrapher Paul Massey in Mousehole, Cornwall, UK. After the week I have had I would love nothing more than to leave everything at home (cats, electronics, real estate agents, maybe even husband) and spend a few days here with nothing but good food and good books. *SIGH* (Via Unique Home Stays)
