Beautiful light spills through French doors making its way further into this apartment through internal windows and cut outs, reflecting off glass walls and slick services. White walls and pale floors lift and brighten the space while a colour palette of greys and blues and greens calms and relaxes. I am completely infatuated with this home in Burgundy, France. It is the weekend getaway for interior designer Clarisse Prudent and her family, and was completely renovated over the span of 15 months. It is a gem, with concrete floors, very basic architecture, lots of windows, lofty on the top floor and filled with lots of vintage pieces paired with a few classics. My favourite touch - the photographic artwork. Via The Socialite Family.
If the last project by Ensemble Architecture and Elizabeth Roberts Design was all about living large in a narrow space this one is about living and working in an expansive loft. The large industrial building is home to a sculptor wife and chef husband. Half is an artist studio and the rest a light and bright living space with a chef's kitchen for TV productions and events. Love the office next to the kitchen. A series of sliding doors provides separation between more private areas and the cooking stage.
