Schumacher

Renowned fabric and wallpaper company Schumacher has a new website. It’s a soft launch with many more features to come but already I’ve lost myself in the absolutely beautiful lines they carry. Schumacher have the hottest designs out there at the moment. KWID, Matthew Patrick Smyth and Jamie Drake join a long line of the world’s best designers who have contributed to their ranges. Think Mario Buatta, Sister Parish, Chuck Fisher, Paul Poiret, Dorothy Draper, Saul Steinberg, and Frank Lloyd Wright. The pattern that is flying around the design blogosphere as the must have “it” pattern, Chiang Mai Dragon, is one of theirs of course. Beautiful site, beautiful product. Wallpaper love

I adore wallpaper. I adore wallpaper because I adore pattern. The wallpapers available these days are SO creative and fun. I've been wondering if maybe I should wallpaper somewhere in my house. Maybe the powder room. Or in the upstairs hallway. The walls are all in pretty rough shape from being patched up over the past 90 or so years so maybe this would help hide the mess (they are smooth at least). I thought by finding some photos of great wallpapers, I might get inspired to actually go through with it. Or at least inspire someone else to wallpaper something.

Naked bodies, drag queens and Florence Broadhurst

More goodies from Nadia at Signature Prints. A few weeks ago we posted about the collaboration between London cabaret club Madame JoJo's and Signature Prints (see it here). Isn't that the most outrageous wallpaper you have ever seen?! General manager, Helen Lennie can be seen with two of the cabaret's famous (or should that be infamous) performers.

Part two of the goodies is that extraordinarily talented body artist/make up artist Emma Hack has an exhibition of her work featuring Florence Broadhurst patterns from Monday 15 October at the ArtHouse Hotel, Sydney. Emma's work is amazing but be warned her website does contain nudity and adult themes.

Porters Paints do wallpaper

Thought I’d share these gorgeous wallpapers from Porters Paints. Known in Australia for their range of paints from lime washes and milk paints to distempers and traditional paint finishes to premium quality acrylic paints.
