OMG I love this office!!!

I adore this home office of New Zealand designer and stylist LeeAnn Yare. The colours are phenomenal. LeeAnn is a wallpaper addict so she's filled it with off-cuts and samples she couldn't bear to part with - FUN! The desk is an old door, the filing cabinet was stripped, and the space is filled with vintage treasures. This one HAS to go in my inspiration folder. (via Urbis magazine, photo by Larnie Nicolson)

Phillip K Erickson, at it again

You may remember this home I blogged a couple of months ago that was submitted by photographer Phillip K Erickson. He kindly emailed to let us know about one of his latest projects, called The Maryland. As usual Phillip's awesome photography makes this relatively dark and moody home appear dramatic and SO intriguing. (I am in love with the built-in surrounding the stove).

Rock star Miami kitchen

Ruben D Gutierrez of Errez Design sent us photos of one of yet another of his latest projects. (See previous projects herehere and here). Here are some details: I wanted to share some images of a kitchen we just renovated in Miami, FL. This kitchen was designed for a fun creative guy who loves rock and roll and gourmet food. We wanted to make the kitchen feel like it belonged in a 1930's house but still pop with bold colors and edgy patterns. We used a yellow and grey geometric wallpaper from Jonathan Adler on the ceiling. The yellow tones are also found on the hardwood floors. Classic charcoal grey cabinetry was paired with white marble and white ceramic tile for contrast. Vintage library lamps illuminate the open aluminum shelving. What a fun, bold kitchen! Love it all - the yellow accents, door hardware, wallpaper on the ceiling(!!!), subway tiles....

When a stylist tackles DIY

Kiwi stylist LeeAnn Yare really got her hands dirty at the Signature Prints factory in Sydney when she was lucky enough to be given a lesson in screening her own roll of Florence Broadhurst Horses Stampede in tangerine.  Despite the 40 degree heat in the factory on the day, the result was near perfect, and is now gracing LeeAnn's sons' bathroom walls.  A long time fan of FB designs, LeeAnn is a huge fan of anything handmade, and this experience has only made her appreciate the handmade process even more. Check out LeeAnn's own concept store Collected at BLOC, opening on the 22nd March in Auckland New Zealand, where she will be selling FB wallpaper and fabric, and some one off limited edition surprises.

Photos by Larnie Nicolson Photography. Collected's website will be live this weekend.
