A vintage industrial apartment by artKRAFT

I have lots of love for all things vintage and industrial so I am crushing on this attic apartment in Budapest sent in by the lovely industrial design shop artKRAFT. The furnishings they brought in are pretty awesome, and add in the most amazing windows and herringbone hardwood and I am ALL OVER THIS. A neoclassical home by Tara Shaw

I don't know if it's that I'm now in my godforsaken 40's and life as I knew it will never be the same, but I never really thought much about "traditional" style decor such as this neoclassical home designed by New Orleans based Tara Shaw. And spaces like the dining room below really move me, much more than they ever did before. Of course, I would throw in a few more mid-century modern bits (as Tara has done in a couple of the rooms) just to keep things eclectic.

There is something so dreamy and magical about this home. it brings together French and shabby chic with a plethora of textures and patterns and aged patinas and sparkle and glamour. if I walked through the front door of this home I could wander around for hours running my hands over fabrics, admiring each nook and cranny and not wanting to miss a thing.
