You know it's not always about sofas that cost as muche as a small car, 2 ovens (one steam), a microwave and a German coffee machine banked up in the kitchen wall or a bathroom encased in marble. Definitely not your typical pastel palette. Not a sign of nursery pink or sugar Easter egg blues and greens. No, a more mature pastel scheme, muted, dirty, soft but still striking. Add to that beautiful textures, patinaed metallics and playful patterns and the result is a charming and stylish family home by Los Angeles-based Reath Design.
It's like I say week after week. If you have to drag your sorry self into work on a weekend it certainly eases the pain if your workplace is kick ass stylin'. At first glance this could be a cooler than cool loft apartment but no it's definitely an office. Great space in South Pasadena by ETC.etera (etc for short).

It's a salon, a gathering place, a carefully curated space for the meeting of like minds. I love the choice of areas to sit, to work, to relax, to interact with friends or simply to turn the pages of a favourite book. It is a room of personal treasures with a muted palette and luxurious finishes. Traditional and refined.
