Traditional + transitional by Landy Gardner

Whether traditional or transitional, Nashville interior designer Landy Gardner created spaces that are quite unique with impeccable attention to detail. I am not sure which style I prefer - perhaps the traditional because marble fireplace + blingy crystal chandelier = LOVE!!! (More of Landy's work can be found here)

A Craftsman beach house

What a fabulous beach house designed by Threshold Interiors! This Jersey Shore Craftsman is so pleasing to the eye with lots of fun touches like graphic floor tile (and fireplace surround), wallpaper (love that Farrow & Ball Aranami pattern in the bathroom), and the bathrooms are absolutely stunning. And what about this kitchen!! Subway tile, copper, and pale grey cabinets make it timeless and polished.

Vintage style in the West Village

"Designing a functional lifestyle goes well beyond beauty. It is an expression of where you are in your life. Your home should support you, showcase your interests and allow you to feel grounded."

Hotel Tivoli

I need to take a trip to Tivoli, NY and stay in this fabulously decorated hotel. I adore the simplicity, playfulness, bold colours, quirky furniture and that grey trim everywhere!! Hotel Tivoli and its accompanying farm-to-table restaurant The Corner is a century-old building situated in the historic town of Tivoli, New York. Owned by painters Brice and Helen Marden, the property is filled with an eclectic collection of furniture, lighting and art. Reunion Goods & Services worked with the Mardens to infuse the space with lightness punctuated by individualistic moments. The design included a restaurant space with a custom marble bar, two dining rooms and ten unique guest rooms. The identity for the hotel and restaurant was a direct collaboration with Brice whose drawings are paired with reserved text evocative of gallery wall captions. This typography was carried throughout the space, with hand-painted numerals on doors and sparing use of color.
