Buenos Aires based architect Maria Eugenia Carranza of Estudio Carranza emailed us about a couple of her latest projects. This kitchen and bathroom renovation was my favourite. Any kitchen with a black floor and white subway tile with dark grout is going to win me over. Throw in a bathroom with beautiful, bold floral wallpaper and I am left shouting YES! YES! YES! followed by a fist pump.
Because they mix old and new so well. Because family living can be stylish. Because Spanish tile gets me every time. That's why I wanted to share more fabulous apartment from Meritxell Ribé and The Room Studio.
When a classic Art Nouveau era house with beautiful windows and amazing old tile floors meets ultra contemporary furniture and fittings a little magic happens. London based Charles Tashima Architecture is all about creating functional spaces without alot of fuss. I'm dying a little over all the tumbling block tile, and nice to see lots of reclaimed and original wood. Great bones for some sweet decor.
