A totally overhauled flat in Madrid

Mike of Hr estudio de interiorismo & inmobiliaria emailed us about a 245 m2 flat he recently completed in the center of Madrid. It had been completely renovated and the transformation is so shocking I had to include a couple of before photos. It is hard to believe it is the same flat. The architectural details are stunning and I love the raised library space. Congrats on a beautiful project Mike!

Bring on the retro funk

Need a little pick me up? This home ought to help! It's retro all the way, with some names like Platner and Saarinen to keep the classics alive. Colour, pattern, light fixtures that completely rock my world. There is even a bit of a zoo with peacocks and jaguars! This is the Madrid home of interior designer Miriam Alia of Living Pink (via Nuevo Estilo).

Craziness

It was a very crazy day yesterday. My husband and I made a very quick somewhat drastic decision that still has me a bit shocked/speechless. But it's time for a change and so this will be the beginnings of many new projects and I can't wait! I'm being a bit cryptic but you'll hear more in the near future. I have to run (it's going to be an unbelieveably hectic few weeks - at my day job too so really bad timing - so please bear with me) but I wanted to share some photos of a really cool studio in a converted factory in Barcelona.
