A renovated home in Spain

What were once 3 "huts" is now this stunning, modernized home in Santa Catalina, Spain. It sounds like Christine Leja and her team at Bconnected worked some magic with this project - I would have loved to see some before photos. Cement floors done in an old traditional way, iron staircase and windows done by an artistic blacksmith, "Tadelakt" walls handmade by experienced artisans, landscaping by special designers, inbuilt furniture handcrafted by carpenters, an exceptional finishing by our fantastic builder - and last and not least, thanks to Charlotte, the owner, with her great taste for interior design.

Seamless beauty

"An elegant background for everyday living." That's what Brooklyn-based architectural firm Bangia Agostinho strive to create and I can't get enough. This extensive renovation in Carroll Gardens takes the building back to its beautiful, simple bones and seamlessly inserts the perfect living space for a modern family so that traditional and contemporary complement and enhance.

A remodeled home in San Francisco

As I prepare this post ready I am packing my bags and booking a flight to San Francisco because I am moving in!!! This house is amazing! Thank you to interior designers Lisa and Tiffany of MANSFIELD + O’NEIL for sharing this project. Our clients loved their prime location in a sylvan setting of the Bay Area (Marin) hills; however, they rejected the suburban aesthetics of the former house and were tired of its dark, compartmentalized interiors. The complete remodel transformed the house into a light-filled, open plan jewel-box of a house that now delights the family and fosters gracious California indoor-outdoor living. The furniture and finishings are edited and modern, but still approachable and family-friendly, accommodating two professional parents, twin teenage boys, and a lively dog. The focus of this project was on quality of space, materials, and finishings – not the quantity – and it's restrained footprint and interior epitomizes clean, considered design. Pops of colour in a small London flat

Love the use of colour in this renovation of a one bedroom flat for young newlyweds in Hoxton, East London. Interior designer Cassidy Hughes has turned a tired space into something bright and airy with loads of personality.

A renovated Victorian in London

When old becomes new, and no expense appears to have been spared in the renovation of this semi-detached 4 story, 3,700 sq ft Victorian in Brixton, London. The dark grey stained herringbone hardwood floors are fantastic, and so much drama was added simply by painting the stairs, doors and their frames and some built-in bookcases black. This is classy yet liveable and significant attention to detail in the finishes. Glorious! Available as a location home through the one and only Shoot Factory
