Eclectic and spunky decor that is right up my alley. This is the home of Heather and Matt French of French & French Interiors based in Santa Fe, NM. Their inspiration comes from travels throughout Asia, Europe, the Caribbean and South America, and their aesthetic is a blend of antiques, fun art, and modern pieces with an international vibe. The combination is unique and beautiful.

It seems I didn't take many photos this week of cats - I blame it on my hectic schedule. I did manage to capture this yesterday morning while I was lying in bed surrounded by cats. Former feral Frankie is such a big baby when he's sleepy in bed with us. It's the only time he'll basically go near us. He's an odd character.
Also, not pets on furniture but I had to share some of my favourite photos from our visit last weekend to the Country Cat Sanctuary.
And thanks to Korin for the reminder about this oldie but goodie.

And a few from me. Georgie made a rare appearance acting like a normal cat yesterday morning and she graciously allowed me to photograph her. Phoebe chilling on the sofa in the living room that I recently covered with 2 vintage embroidered tablecloths. And feral brothers Bernie and Frankie cuddling for warmth on my Victorian embroidered chair.

Attached is a picture of Sponge, the cat. While he enjoys a variety of hobbies (e.g., bird watching, dog management), his true passion is catching rays in his Hovmand Olsen lounge chair. He commandeered the chair shortly after restoration and now refuses to lounge elsewhere, putting up a good defensive game when necessary.

This is our beloved Citrouille…she passed away on March 2nd at almost 20 years old! This photo illustrates beautifully her presence…always center stage, very active (broke many vases) and more than anything, very loving and accepting of all the other fur balls that came in after her. Our transplanted rescue cat, Singha, enjoying her new home in London along with her Ethan Allen leather recliner purchased in Calgary almost 10 years ago. The 20 year old B&B Italia bench (purchased from Robert Sweep in Calgary) is another favourite item belonging to all in this household.

This is my dearest Quin. She passed away recently at the age of 19. She loved this sofa and spent a lot of time lounging here.

This is Maisie. She was featured on Pets on Furniture once before, grooming herself in the dryer. In these 2 photos she is on ACTUAL furniture.
1 - she's taking her afternoon constitutional in our bedroom. She's barely left this spot (my side of the bed) since I added the chenille blanket a little over a week ago. Every night when I go to bed I find her here, and she gives me the same look you see in the photo: "Just try and make me move!"
2 - Here she's checking out my newly organized desk drawer. Not really. Just thieving pencils again, one of her favorite pastimes when she isn't hogging the bed.

My cat Byron, 5 months old, sleeps on my desk all day. I work from home so I have a lot of conference calls, he sleeps through them all!
