So...it's cold. (Not mad about it!) Like, so chilly I considered turning on the heat this morning. I can't bring myself to do that so early in September, but I did have to close the front door. And when I did that, the loss of light made it feel reaaaaallllly cramped in here. I missed my wide open living room, so the couch went back over here for now. And I'm LOVING it. I felt stuck with this floor plan for a long time, so it's nice to know I have at least one other option. Last in the sitting room series is the chaise longue that divides the two halves of the sitting room, otherwise known as the seat of Her Impurrial Highness Princess Enid. In other news the 16yo did exceptionally well in his GCSEs. We are so proud. He is a bit stunned. But we must move on for today the 13yo becomes 14. And that's another moment - born three months prematurely weighing 985g he is completely healthy and as happy as a teenager can be. There’s so many people «in here» who share love and support for each other every day. It feels so good to give it, and to receive it, thanks. Bright sparkles are thrown around, and it does good ✨  We should all keep up being nice to each other, we all deserve it. And today I want to share some πŸ’• extra love πŸ’• for #styleithappy, and that is for the only person I’ve met who is not «just in here», but we’ve visited each other several times, and even our kids (and dogs!) are getting to know each other. School picnic today and even though it was 14 DEGREES (😱) we still sat outside. It's bed week at #luxuryinteriorsonabudget I hear, so another one of my bedroom for fab team of @marks_and_rowe_interiors and @patirobins - whilst waiting for new pendant lamp and bedding for this room, both in summer delay. Headboard is thrifted only a few weeks ago for £30, and so is the nightstand (£15). I splurge on quality paint and wallpaper mainly, but love vintage furniture, so usually get far on a small budget. Sometimes I splurge on lamps too. πŸ™ŠThis is also my #widn for @ninegreenbottles I was too busy watching Star Wars Rogue One with my boys to tidy much.
